Where is your service area, and what are your rates?
For on-site visits, we cover from Pasadena, California to the Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, and Venice, with points in-between. We charge by the hour, with a one hour minimum for on-site service, @ $150 per hour. After the initial hour, time is calculated in 15 minute increments. If you only need an hour and a half, you only pay for an hour and a half. There is no additional travel charge within our service area in Los Angeles. Travel to destinations outside our service area incur travel time, as well as fuel charges. Please contact us for more details. Full-day rates are available and must be arranged in advance. Please note we tend to book up as much as two weeks ahead, but will try accommodate you as best we can. Remote service is also available after an initial on-site visit.
Do you work on Windows?
Some clients need to be able to use certain software that is only available on a Windows platform. While we do support the installation of Windows on a Mac, using emulation software (VMware, Parallels), we are Mac specialists and focus on the Apple Macintosh / iOS platforms. Alas, we really don't do Windows. If you have a Windows PC, we recommend that you find a
certified Microsoft Windows specialist.
We will, however,
help you transition from a Windows PC to a Mac!
Do you fix things other than computers?
Many of our clients have elaborate smart-homes, with Alexa, Sonos,
Control 4, Smart TVs and more installed. We can usually help you sync your phone to your car, or install your ring cameras, or help with a long list of other tasks too numerous to describe here. If we can't help you troubleshoot something, we can point you to colleagues in the industry who can. We've even been known to change a light bulb or two, if time permits.
